Shiny Edition currently ships within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories). We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Shipping Methods and Costs
We offer various shipping options, which will be presented at checkout. Shipping costs are calculated based on factors such as:
- Package weight and dimensions
- Shipping destination
- Chosen shipping method (e.g., Standard, Expedited)
You can view the available shipping options and their associated costs during the checkout process before finalizing your order.
Processing Time
- In-Stock Items: Orders for in-stock items are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
- Pre-Order Items: Please refer to the Pre-Order Shipping section below for information on pre-order shipping timelines.
Shipping Timeframes
Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout based on the selected shipping method. Please note that these are estimates, and actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside of our control, such as weather conditions, carrier delays, and peak shipping seasons.
Pre-Order Shipping
- Shipping Timeframe: Pre-order items typically arrive 5-7 business days after their official release date due to potential overseas shipping to us.
- Combined Shipping: If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, or multiple pre-order items with different release dates, we will ship your entire order once all items are in stock and available to ship. If you need in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
- Release Date Changes: Please be aware that release dates are subject to change without notice from the manufacturer or distributor. We are not responsible for these changes and will not provide individual notifications.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment on the carrier's website.
Shipping Address Accuracy
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you. You will be responsible for any additional shipping costs to reship the package to the correct address. Please note that a 15% restocking fee may also apply in this situation as stated in our return policy.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at support@shinyedition.com as soon as possible. We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the issue and find a resolution. Please retain all packaging materials and damaged items for inspection.

Please inspect your order upon purchase (if in-store) and receipt (if shipped) and contact us within 14 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Inquiries made after this 14-day period will not be eligible for refunds or replacements.
What to Expect (Sometimes)
Sometimes, even brand-new toys can have tiny quirks from the factory, like a little scratch on the shrink wrap or a bit of extra glue on the box. We try our best to catch anything major before it ships, so we can't offer refunds for these minor imperfections.
We take extra care in packing your orders, but sometimes the shipping process can be a little bumpy. Small dents, slight bending, or minor scratches that might occur in transit aren't considered defects, so we're unable to process claims for these minor issues.
We recommend visiting our storefront, where you can hand-select items and increase your chances of finding one in perfect condition.
Important Note About Clearance, Collectibles, and Special Items:
We want to be upfront about a few special cases:
- Clearance Items: All clearance items are final sale. This means no returns, refunds, or exchanges, no matter what. We price these items to move, so we can't make exceptions.
- Collectibles and Special Items: Certain items, like booster packs/boxes, blind bags/boxes, tokens, prize capsules, Kuji/Ticket items, and collectible/trading cards, are also final sale once purchased. We can't offer returns or refunds on these items due to the nature of the products.
Damages, Missing Items, and/or other issues
For any claims regarding damaged items, we require an unboxing video or photos clearly showing the package as it is opened and displaying all of the contents. Please send us the video/pictures, along with your claim, within 14 days of when your package was delivered (not when you opened it). We need the video/pictures from the person who received the package at the original shipping address to confirm it came from Shiny Edition.
If you've opened the item in-store, please bring your receipt! We can check our security footage to verify the damage and work with you to find a solution. Don't have your receipt? We understand things happen! While a receipt is ideal, we may be able to offer store credit or an exchange at our discretion with valid identification. We'll do our best to help, but without a receipt, we may not be able to process a full refund.
If something's missing or you received the wrong item, please send us an email with the subject "Missing/Wrong Item" and, super importantly, include a pictures or video of you opening your package. Having pictures or video is a big help for us in figuring out what happened and getting it fixed for you quickly.
Please make sure to contact us within 14 days of your delivery date. Requests made after 14 days or without pictures or the unboxing video may not be processed.
Just a friendly reminder: We can't accept returns or exchanges just because you've changed your mind or have buyer's remorse. We need there to be an actual issue with the item(s) for us to process a return.
Claim Eligibility
We want you to be happy with your order, so when it arrives, please take a moment to check it over. If you notice anything that's not right —a defective item, missing product, or an incorrect item—please get in touch with us right away so we can take care of it.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 14 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. This 14-day period begins upon delivery of the order, not the date the package was opened.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in the same condition as received: unopened and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Want to Make a Return?
No problem! To be eligible for a return, your order must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, and snuggled back in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase to help us get you squared away.
To start a return, just shoot us an email at support@shinyedition.com. We'll let you know if your return is accepted and then send you instructions on how to send the item back.
Heads up: You'll usually be responsible for return shipping costs, unless we've agreed otherwise. There's also a 15% restocking fee to help us get things back on the shelves quickly. Just a friendly reminder, items sent back to us without first requesting a return won't be accepted.
Also, please note that some items, such as those associated with special events, clearance items, final sale items, and unfulfilled orders past our 30-day policy (excluding Pre-orders), are not eligible for refunds.
Wrong Address?
In case your package gets sent back because of an address mix-up (it happens!), we'll refund you for the item itself, but any shipping costs won't be refunded, and the 15% restocking fee will still apply.
Refunds
We can only process refunds to the original payment method used for your order. If you no longer have access to that method, you'll need to contact your payment provider to get your funds back.
In most cases, refunds should appear on your statement within 7-10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
